Invisible Faith
Bear--Violet--the Invisibles
For times when we are in the underworld- when despair, loss & grief permeate us. When we are deeply disoriented and have lost our sense of reality. For when the touch of the numinous and the palpable sentience of life becomes painfully elusive.
This is drawing is meant to be a touch stone, a reminder that the invisibles are always with us, even when we feel disillusioned, unworthy, and are hanging on to small fragile roots of life and self- they never leave us.
Violets are a little know & unassuming underworld plant- they bear flowers that stay underground, remain closed and unbloomed, yet gestate the violet’s vital seeds. unpollinated - an internal process. A reminder for when we are alone and in the underworld, we must stay the course and go within to bear the fruit of our souls - and lean into invisible faith. Eventually emerging once again, like bear teaches in spring.
